Just over 14 months ago, we lost our dear friend and colleague, Michael Kerr.
Immediately, a commitment was made to make sure that neither Michael, nor his legacy, would ever be forgotten by us.
Long hours and effort were committed to transforming our central boardroom into the most stunning and fitting meeting areas and on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, the opening of The Michael Kerr Boardroom in our MFC HQ took place.
Michael’s Wife, Donna & his children Annie Mae, Cara and Colleen cut the ribbons on the doors and unveiled the most stunning mural of Michael inside our new Boardroom.
Dessie & Dee, Michael’s parents were also in attendance and unveiled the Michael Kerr Boardroom plaque that has been fixed outside the room entrance.
Even in the short six-week period that has passed since the opening, many important discussions and decisions have taken place in this special room and as we all can see, they have been under the watchful & handsome eyes of Michael.
A huge thank you is extended to local artist and the most talented of guys, Peaball, who created this mural with love.
